Why do I need an Air Receiver?

An Air Receiver acts as a temporary storage of air within any compressed air system. Its purpose is to store air to accommodate for peaks in demand from the compressed air system optimizing the running efficiency.

The main Benefits to the compressed air system include pressure stabilization, pulsation reduction, velocity reduction, temperature reduction, storage for handling high air consumption, condensate separation and general improvement of the life, reliability and function overall.

Air Receivers are required by law to have a pressure relief valve and pressure gauge for safety procedures.

All Horizontal and Vertical Air Receivers are supplied with manual drain valve, pressure gauge & pressure relief valve.
